Organic Produce for your Family

Why Use CSA?

CSAs generally focus on the production of high quality foods for a local community, often using or methods, and a shared risk membership–marketing structure. This kind of farming operates with a much greater degree of involvement of consumers and other stakeholders than usual — resulting in a stronger consumer-producer relationship. The core design includes developing a cohesive consumer group that is willing to fund a whole season’s budget in order to get quality foods. The system has many variations on how the farm budget is supported by the consumers and how the producers then deliver the foods. CSA theory purports that the more a farm embraces whole-farm, whole-budget support, the more it can focus on quality and reduce the risk of food waste or financial loss.

Our Market Share
The Market Share system is a pre-paid account.  You pay in the spring, helping out our farm through our high expense season, before we are realizing income.  The share is in $100 dollar increments and you realize an extra 10% credit on your account.  You pick and choose what produce, seeds, herbs, and seedlings that you want to buy at our market stand at the Steep Falls Farmers Market, and we keep track of your balance.  To get an idea of produce available by the month, look at the list below.  You can renew your share any time throughout the season.  We expect that you will use your entire credit before the end of the season, because there are no refunds.

Many folks love this type of share rather than the boxed CSA, because they are able to pick out just what they want or need, and still help their farmer friends.  We would love to have you as a market share customer and have you visit the farmers' market and also shop other vendors and enjoy the events that the market offers.  Below is a paypal method of payment or at the bottom of the page a form you can printout out a mail with your check.
